WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - Downtown Wichita Falls Development has announced that the Wichita Falls Chamber of Commerce will be taking the lead on economic development efforts for the downtown area moving forward.

In their statement , they expressed that growth for the Downtown Wichita Falls area needs shared goals.

Downtown Wichita Falls Development said that over the years the Chamber of Commerce has help promote economic development for the area.

Downtown Wichita Falls Development said while they will no longer lead economic development efforts, the are not going anywhere any time soon.
