Drake men's basketball saw a double-digit second-half lead disappear, but the Bulldogs were able to hang on and beat Missouri State in overtime 69-62 on Saturday. With the win, Drake improves to 18-2 overall on the season and 8-2 in the Missouri Valley Conference. Bennett Stirtz led the way for the Bulldogs with 18 points. Mitch Mascari followed close behind with 13 points in the win. Drake now returns home and will prepare for the in-state rivalry game. The Bulldogs host Northern Iowa on Jan. 29 at 6 p.m.
