Whether you're actually in the market for a home or just love to dream about the endless possibilities, the annual Parade of Homes is what you've been waiting for!
From August 10 through Labor Day, some of Colorado's most beautiful and elaborate homes currently for sale will be open for tours through the annual Parade of Homes event. More than 65 designed model homes and custom homes will be on display throughout the Denver metro area, including eight dream homes (meaning they're priced over $750,000). The highest-priced home is an Old English-style manor in Castle Rock worth $2,750,000. Only 14 homes are listed for under $400,000, with the lowest priced at $310,900. - First of all, the event is completely FREE! You can tour these gorgeous home masterpieces to your heart's content.
- Each of the Parade's featured homes is open Thursdays through Sundays, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., for four weekends (August 10–September 4).
- Use the Parade of Homes's handy website to narrow down which houses you want to see and then map out your route. You don't have to see all your favorite houses in one day or even in one weekend -- spread it out! (Pro-tip: Focus on one section of the city at a time.)
- Wear comfy shoes, plan out food and bathroom breaks in advance, and feel free to take as many photos as you like! For more tips on planning out your tour, click here.

This is an adventure," the Parade of Homes website says. "The home builders who built these new homes are professional business people and they have chosen to allow us into their magnificent homes. Take advantage of the ideas they have to offer, and recognize that typically if you wanted to see these homes, you’d have to make an appointment with a Realtor and prove you have the means to purchase the home."Regardless of whether you're just looking for interior decorating ideas or actually looking to buy a home, the houses featured in the Parade are sure to inspire and delight! Featured builders include Oakwood Homes, Century Communities, Shea Homes, William Lyon Homes, Thrive Home Builders, Koelbel Urban Homes, Piccirillo Signature Homes, CalAtlantic Homes, D.R. Horton, Toll Brothers, and many more. [gallery columns="2" size="full" ids="19652,19651"] So visit the Parade of Homes's website to browse all the available homes, then plan out your route. You can even narrow down your house list by amenities, price range, and region! Above all, enjoy your trek through our city's neighborhoods and have fun! You never know what treasures you might discover. Have you toured Parade of Homes houses in past years? We'd love to hear about your experience!
