The outdoor bar is named Fix Bar in commemoration of the fix drinks, which is the name used when the alcoholic snow cones became famous in the 19th century. The drinks are traditionally sour and feature a spirit, citric acid, and sweetener served over ice.
According to a press release from Morris American Bar, Fix Bar will feature a "daily rotating menu of fix drinks ($12), each made with fresh, squeezed juice and housemade syrups. A selection of canned rosé from House Wine and local D.C. beers (3 Stars, Anxo, Atlas Brew Works, D.C. Brau, and Right Proper Brewing Company) will also be available for $8 each."
