On May 16, a man reported that he had been involved in an accident and was following the other vehicle into Olmsted Falls.

He was advised to stop following the vehicle for his safety, but refused.

Metroparks Police reported that they found a car missing the right tire. The driver had fled.

Police identified the owner of the car, who said he was out of town and that an employee was driving. He was encouraged to have the employee turn himself in.

On May 15, a man reported that his mailbox had been damaged by an Uber Eats driver.

A caller reported that an Amazon driver had backed into a building, damaged the gutters, then left on May 17.

On May 15, a caller reported that a driver had hit two trash cans and kept driving toward Columbia Station.

Lorain County 911 was advised.

On May 19, a caller reported that her son had stolen a file with all of the family’s financial information.

She said she was concerned for her safety, as she is in the process of naming power of attorney and executor of her will before moving into a nursing home.

Special attention to the apartment was requested for the next several weeks.

A caller reported that her granddaughter had stolen two credit cards from a friend’s purse May 20 and that the cards had been used at Raisin’ Canes.

While on the phone with dispatch, the granddaughter returned and began screaming obscenities at the caller.

On May 21, police stopped a car that had been reported stolen through the Maple Heights Police Department.

Later, they were advised that the driver was an associate of the owner, who had not authorized her to use the vehicle.
