WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - The rain is gone, but the clouds remain. Expect partial clearing this afternoon allowing temperatures to rebound into the upper 60s, or fifteen degrees below normal. Additional clearing tonight plus saturated soil will lead to fog development. Expect areas of low visibility into Wednesday morning as temperatures dip into the lower 50s. Rain returns to the forecast Wednesday afternoon and evening, and while another soaking is a safe bet, severe weather is not expected. Sunshine and a storm-free forecast into the weekend will allow for warmer temperatures to come back to Kansas. Highs in the lower 70s on Thursday will climb into the lower to middle 80s this weekend, which is normal for early June. Looking ahead… temperatures will stay on the warm side next week with highs generally in the 80s. Storm chances also come back to Kansas, but exactly when is too be determined. Very low chances on Monday and Tuesday will be followed by higher chances on Wednesday. Thu: Low: 54. High: 72. Becoming partly cloudy. Fri: Low: 53. High: 78. Mostly sunny. Sat: Low: 57. High: 80.
