ALLEN PARK -- The Detroit Lions will host the Washington Commanders and dynamic rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels in the divisional round this Saturday night from Ford Field. Detroit is fresh off the first-round bye, while the Commanders had to escape a dogfight, beating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a game-winning field goal in the final moments. There is so much on the line in this one, with a trip back to the NFC title game on the line. The Lions have their hands full this week, though. Daniels has looked like anything but a rookie this season, leading game-winning drive after game-winning drive. Washington has built its offense around the rookie quarterback, and those 13 wins and a career year from Terry McLaurin were the result.
