This week kicks off three weeks of Northern Virginia high school graduations at George Mason University's EagleBank Arena in Fairfax County. Traffic volume is expected to increase around the campus during the graduation ceremonies, which continue through June 16. D rivers may also experience intermittent street closures, Monumental Sports and Entertainment said in a news release. It will be the second consecutive year the university hosts 38 graduation ceremonies for high school students and their families. Doors will open one hour prior to the event’s start time. Attendees should review the venue’s bag policy , as only clear bags and 5x7 clutches will be permitted.
