HOLDEN, Mo. (KCTV) - A Holden woman lost her life after her SUV veered off a rural Missouri highway during an early-morning collision. The Missouri State Highway Patrol indicates that around 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 8, emergency crews were called to the area of Missouri Highway O between 600th and 500th Rd., southeast of Holden, with reports of a single-vehicle crash. When first responders arrived, they said they found a 54-year-old Holden woman had been driving a 2010 Buick Enclave south on the highway when, for an unknown reason, she veered off the right side of the roadway. State Troopers indicated that the driver overcorrected and returned to the highway before she crashed into an embankment. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.
