Legendary actor and comedian Bob Newhart has died. He was 94 years old.
His death has been confirmed by his longtime publicist Jerry Digney, who said Newhart died in Los Angeles on Thursday morning after a "series of short illnesses." He also said it's the “end of an era in comedy.”
He is best known for his roles in various television and movie roles, including The Bob Newhart Show, Newhart, Elf, and many more. Newhart's career spanned over the course of five decades.
