Breathe in the fresh air and take a break from everyday stressors at these scenic and peaceful Eastern Shore parks!

No one can deny that everyday life can be stressful from time to time! Work, appointments, bills, kids -- and so much more -- have to fit into a limited number of hours each day. But a good way to de-stress is to head to a park! There, you can either take some quiet time or blow off some steam. Below are a few of our favorite Eastern Shore parks!

WinterPlace Park & Equestrian Center

You can test your athletic skills on one of their softball fields, baseball fields, tennis courts, and more. Or you can clear your head by walking or running on their trails. And if you have a horse, they have courses where you can practice riding at the Wicomico Equestrian Center!

Janes Island State Park

You can rent a cabin or settle in at the campground and enjoy the many things the park offers. You can paddle through the water trails, rent kayaks and canoes, try and fetch some crabs or fish for dinner -- the list just keeps going! Then, when you want to bask in the peace and quiet, you can go to the picnicking or pavilion areas for a nice meal!

Martinak State Park

Rent out one of their lodgings or pitch a tent in one of their many campsites. If you have a boat, you can ride out onto the water and take in the cool breeze and the sun on your skin.
