Emotional support duck rides plane is not a headline you see very often. That’s right, a duck!

I think everyone can agree that sitting on any type of aircraft with two inches of legroom is uncomfortable. Not to mention the anxiety that comes with being thousands of feet in the air. To help make this trip a little more relaxed, owner Carla Fitzgerald brought her six-pound emotional support duck onto the aircraft. Daniel is his name. A fellow passenger was astonished to see this little fella waddle onto the plane. Author Mark Essig tweeted, "He is an Indian Runner (an Indonesian breed), a certified emotional support duck, 4 years old, wears a Captain America diaper," Daniel is becoming famous everywhere! Emotional support duck rides plane is now currently trending and also catching the attention of many. Emotional support duck rides plane Fitzgerald was involved in a serious accident where the horse-drawn carriage she was operating in downtown Milwaukee was hit by a texting driver. Her 2,000-pound horse suffered serious whiplash and she was in critical condition. It took Fitzgerald four months to learn how to walk again and she is still on disability. Daniel has helped her daily with her PTSD. Fitzgerald states, "First of all, he’s got a calming effect, second of all, if I start heading toward the PTSD, he senses it right away and he’s able to calm me down. If I’m standing he’ll try to climb on my legs, and if I'm sitting he will face me. He’ll climb my chest, and that's my cue for me to lie down. And then he sits on my chest until it passes. Then once it passes, we go about our day." If Daniel is with Fitzgerald constantly, then why wouldn’t he be on the plane? Passengers loved Daniels presence. Daniel brought a lot of joy to not just Fitzgerald, but every passenger on the plane that day.
