Englewood residents are invited to the city's very first "State of the City" event, on Thursday, June 1, at 6 p.m.
Sponsored by the Englewood City Council, the "State of the City” event will celebrate "the art of community." It is free to the public, and all are encouraged to attend.
State of the City 2017 will feature a formal address by Mayor Joe Jefferson, who is expected to review Englewood's history, provide the city's residents with updates on recent activities, and lay out the plan and vision for the future of the community.
In addition, time will be provided for socializing and networking both before and after the mayor's speech. Featured music and art will be present, and complimentary refreshments will be served.
