From 9:30-3 p.m. Bentgate Mountaineering On Snow Demo at Loveland Ski Area- Alpine, Alpine Touring, Telemark, Splitboard and Avalanche Gear will be available for free. *with adult signatures on waivers, credit card for deposit and Government issued ID

Colorado Cowboy Poetry Gathering Golden in January

CCG is all about exploring, presenting and preserving the cultural heritage of the American West. Come join this organization in this annual event where the traditions of the cowboy and the Code of the West are shared through stories, poetry, song and verse.

Free Movie Night at Golden River Sports- Big Water!

Join Golden River Sports for a night of two free films, Grand Canyon of the Stikine and the full length featured movie from the newest installment from Rush Sturges and the people at River Roots- Chasing Niagara. Watch the pro kayaker Rafa Ortiz follow his dream to paddle over Niagara Falls.

January 23rd:

Evolutions 2017 Golden in January

Evolutions opens at the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum on January 23rd at 10:00 a.m. through April 22nd. Evolutions 2017 was an open challenge to all quilters and fabric artists in celebration of yesterday’s traditions as well as tomorrow’s innovations. Come see how quilt artists interpreted evolutions at this exhibit.

January 27th:

UllrGrass Festival Golden in January
