TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — With all the excitement happening this weekend due to the Children’s Gasparilla Parade, the city of Tampa will be experiencing some road closures.

In light of these expected closures, the City’s Mobility Department urges parade attendees to arrive early and utilize alternate means of transportation such as parking in Ybor City and riding the TECO Streetcar.

Other public transportation options will also be available such as DASH service.

HART buses will be up-running and Route 1 will be free for the remainder of this month.

City garages will be open with free bike parking inside.

The City of Tampa also has an online neighborhood parking map with information about parking restrictions in the surrounding area.
