FAIRFAX, Va. (7News) — Detectives discovered new leads in the case of a woman who has been missing since 2022, according to the City of Fairfax Police Department.

Officials announced on Thursday that they uncovered new leads in the case of Amanda L. Childress, a woman who has not been seen or heard from since March 6, 2022.

Evidence collected since her disappearance indicated that Childress was the victim of a foul play, and the investigation remains ongoing, officials said.

Officials ask for public assistance in the investigation. A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered to anyone with tips that lead to an arrest, officials said.
