British luxury men's and womenswear brand Fairfax & Favor will continue its retail expansion via two new stores in Southwold, Suffolk and Shaftesbury, Dorset.

Both stores are housed in former banks in the towns' city centres, aligning with the brand's "commitment to securing characterful stores that reflect its heritage".

The British label is committed to further expansion, with further openings planned as part of its long-term retail growth strategy.

Fairfax & Favor was founded in Norfolk in 2013 by childhood friends Marcus Fairfax Fountaine and Felix Favor Parker. It opened its first store in Holt, Norfolk in 2019.

Fairfax & Favor was advised by real estate consultancy Newmark in the acquisition of the two stores. Newmark is the brand's sole retail property consultant and has helped it to secure sites in Stamford and Stow in Lincolnshire and Marlow in Buckinghamshire.

Parker, founding director at Fairfax & Favor, commented: "Our tours of the country have been a lot of fun and there are moments when you arrive in a town, and you just know. A great example was after driving across the stunning Yorkshire countryside we stumbled upon the picture postcard town of Helmsley with the old NatWest Bank overlooking the town square.
