KAPOLEI, Hawaii (Island News) -- Firefighters are responding to a brushfire off Farrington Highway eastbound after Kamokila Community Park that is causing traffic delays.

Crews responded to the fire after 1 p.m. on Jan. 2, 2025. The right lane is being blocked as they are working to take out the fire. The Farrington traffic is backed up to Lualualei Naval Road.

There are currently no reports of what the cause of the fire are. There have been no reports of injuries or accidents.
