Add it to your calendar now. On December 7, "Top Chef" season 15 will premiere on Bravo, giving viewers a glimpse of Colorado's incredible culinary world. Shot in picturesque locations across the state, contestants battle it out with cooking challenges unique to Colorado, including deconstructing the Denver Omelet and a special tailgate with Broncos players. "Hope no one's allergic to nuts," show host Padma Lakshmi quips, as she unveils a Rocky Mountain oyster challenge. (For the uninitiated, Rocky Mountain oysters are actually the testicles of cattle.) premiere Colorado definitely "shows well" in the previews, as the hosts and contestants travel between Denver (Larimer Square food festival and Mile High), Boulder, Aspen (Food & Wine Classic), and Telluride, taking on a variety of cooking competitions. Two of the 15 contestants are actually from Colorado: Carrie Baird of Denver and Brother Luck of Colorado Springs. [gallery columns="2" ids="25340,25339"] “It was wild. Our cast house was in Capitol Hill, and I live in Capitol Hill," Baird told The Know. "We’d drive past my home every day. We’d do events and I’d see people I knew and they’d see me."
