The first Friday of every month is the ArtWalk at the Arts District. With galleries open until 11 p.m., this is a fun event for every type of creative soul.
On the first Friday of every month, you'll have the chance to stroll along the Arts Districts on Santa Fe Drive and see what local artists have been creating for your viewing pleasure. The ArtWalk gives the public the opportunity to walk through all of the galleries for free. Gallery doors open at 5 p.m. and close at 11 p.m.
With live and local music playing through the Arts District, it creates the perfect atmosphere as you enjoy the beautiful pieces of art created by artists around Denver and across Colorado. There are over 60 artist studios, galleries, shops, bars and restaurants, making this Denver's largest art walk.

I recently went to the ArtWalk the first Friday of May this year, and I thoroughly enjoyed walking around and seeing all of the different types of art. From still photography of the Rockies or the Great Sand Dunes, to larger-than-life sculptures and abstract paintings, there were pieces of art there for everyone. Not only was there a lot to see, in terms of artwork, but the people who created these masterpieces were so passionate about their creations and would spend time talking with guests about the reasoning behind the certain artistic choices they made.
