VIRGINIA BEACH — A fire broke out at a tattoo studio at the Oceanfront early Wednesday morning.

Shortly after 2:15 a.m., Virginia Beach Fire Department units were dispatched to Seven Cities Tattoo, located at 529 Virginia Beach Blvd. in the city’s ViBe Creative District, for a report of a fire, according to a post on X .

When crews arrived a couple minutes later, the one-story building was fully engulfed with heavy smoke and flames, according to the fire department.

Crews marked the fire under control around 2:40 a.m. The building was vacant at the time of the fire.

No injuries have been reported and the origin and cause of the fire are under investigation.
