CLINTON, Maine — Emergency crews responded to a fully involved structure fire Wednesday afternoon in the Kennebec County town of Clinton.

Clinton police asked shortly before 2 p.m. that drivers avoid Gustafson Road to allow crews to respond, according to a post on the department's social media page.

Police said travelers in that area should expect delays or possible detours.

In addition to Clinton fire crews, all area mutual aid departments were called to assist in the response.
