Florida baseball closed the 2025 regular season by winning its sixth straight SEC series, beating Alabama 9-3 on May 17 at Condon Family Ballpark.

The Florida Gators (37-19, 15-15 SEC) won 14 of their final 18 conference games after a 1-11 SEC start, taking some positive momentum into the SEC Tournament. UF will begin SEC Tournament play on Tuesday at Hoover, Ala.

Florida jumped to an early 4-2 lead, powered by solo home runs from infielder Bobby Boser, catcher Brody Donay and Ty Evans and an RBI single by infielder Landon Stripling.

The Gators then broke the game open with five runs in the bottom of the fifth on a two-RBI single by Boser, RBI ground out by Hayden Yost, double steal and fielder’s choice.

Freshman Aidan King (6-2) earned the win for UF, allowing three runs (one earned) over 6 1/3 innings on six hits with two walks and eight strikeouts. King had to work around three UF errors. Of King’s 94 pitches, 67 went for strikes. Luke McNeillie pitched 2 2/3 innings of scoreless relief to close out the game.

Lefty Zane Adams (7-3) took the loss for Alabama, allowing four runs on six hits over 3 1/3 innings. Right fielder Bryce Fowler went 2 for 5 with an RBI for the Crimson Tide (40-15, 16-14 SEC).

Florida honored senior pitcher Billy Barlow, senior pitcher Piece Coppola, Boser and Evans before the game in Senior Day ceremonies.

With a runner in scoring position, Florida starter Aidan King buckles down, getting back-to-back strikeouts to end the inning. King has allowed one run (none earned) on one hit in 2 IP with five strikeouts.

Bobby Boser, Brody Donay power Florida baseball to early lead



Bobby Boser leads off the bottom of the first with a homer and catcher Brody Donay follows with another solo shot with two outs in the bottom of the first, lifting Florida to a 2-0 lead over Alabama at the end of the first inning. Boser now has 15 home runs this season, while Donay has 16 homers and two in the series against Tide.
