Florida football has announced its annual spring game will take place on April 12 at 1 p.m. at The Swamp. Admission is free. More details about the game, including streaming and broadcast information and fan initiatives will be announced at a later date. The Florida Gators (7-5) closed the regular season on a four-game win streak under head coach Billy Napier, who is 19-19 in three seasons. Florida returns several key players from the 2024 squad, including rising sophomore quarterback D.J. Lagway and All-American center Jake Slaughter. Lagway went 6-1 as a starter for UF last season, passing for 1,915 yards with 12 TDs to nine interceptions. The game also will give Florida fans a chance to catch a glimpse of its 20 early freshman enrollees who will take part in spring drills. Last season, early enrollee and freshman running back Jadan Baugh starred in the spring game, rushing for a game-high 77 yards.
