A man from St. Lucie County, Florida was arrested on charges of issuing online threats against President Donald Trump, according to law enforcement authorities. The St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office, in collaboration with the U.S. Secret Service, conducted a joint operation which led to the arrest of 42-year-old Kendal Aaron Todd at his residence following a search warrant execution, as reported by WFLA .

The suspect allegedly posted a series of messages on his public social media pages, where he expressed intentions, to cause bodily harm to the president. "This investigation is being conducted in coordination with federal authorities, and further details will be provided as the case progresses," stated the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office, as detailed by WPTV . Todd is facing charges of written threats to kill or do bodily harm, with his bond set at $500,000.

One particular video that caught the attention of authorities and led to Todd's arrest featured the suspect issuing a direct and disturbing threat against Trump. "Fight me naked to the death!” Todd said. “I’m going to cut you up with a chainsaw and put you in acid," in the video as noted by a WPBF report. Sheriff Richard Del Toro, commented on the gravity of the situation, stating, "t’s just very concerning for us,” Del Toro said. “Some of the things that have happened in the past to our President. We want to make sure we’re not leaving anything to chance."

This incident marks the third arrest in the region related to threats against Trump since his time in office began on January 20, indicating a pattern of heightened security concerns related to the president.
