After a yearslong battle with Walton County officials over draping pro-Donald Trump banners from his home, Florida resident Marvin Peavy won his case in court Wednesday after a judge ruled he is protected by the First Amendment, according to multiple news reports.

The Santa Rosa Beach businessman has featured flags in defense of the president across the front and side of his house that sits on Scenic Highway 30A since 2020. Peavy told Fox News he owns 10 to 12 different banners.

After receiving a complaint about the display in 2021, officials told Peavy he violated the Walton County scenic corridor code and directed he remove the flags or be fined.

Peavy's home has gone viral on multiple social media platforms including TikTok, where he has amassed several million views on his videos, which polarize viewers. The Valdosta, Georgia native owns a ranch called the Peavy Plantation in the small town of Tifton.
