In an ACC Network special Monday night, the Seminoles' 12-game slate was revealed , and it features FSU's first conference trip to Stanford. The schedule features three teams that ranked in the final CFP top 25 rankings in 2024. The Seminoles open the season against Alabama on Aug. 30 in a newly renovated Doak Campbell Stadium , followed by a matchup on Sept. 6 against East Texas A&M. FSU's game at Stanford in October will be the Seminoles ' first against the Cardinal. FSU's last regular-season game in California California was a 1997 season-opening win at USC. Arguably the toughest stretch of games comes in November, when the Seminoles face Wake Forest, Clemson Virginia Tech, North Carolina State and Florida to close out the season.
