LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Kentucky basketball has added Florida transfer combo guard Denzel Aberdeen to its 2025-2026 roster.

Aberdeen is coming off a National Championship season with the Gators. The 6-foot-5, 190-pound junior has one year of eligibility remaining.

Last season, he averaged 7.7 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game while shooting 35 percent from long distance. In the five games he started for Florida, he averaged 16.2 points and shot 46.2 percent from three.

Aberdeen is the fifth transfer player that Mark Pope has added to his roster this offseason.
