Timothy Duval, 24, of Tallahassee, Fla., was walking along Ocean View Drive near Long Pond Road just after 11:30 p.m. when a car struck and fatally injured him, the Wellfleet Police Department said in a statement Monday. The vehicle, believed to be a pickup truck or SUV, appeared to have fled the scene, according to the statement. No arrests have been made as of Monday night.
