Babe Wines releases new football-themed candles, with some questionable scent choices ...

Nothing is normal about 2020, so why not add jockstrap-scented candles to the mix?

BABE Wine and Ryan Porter of Candier brand teamed up to do their part to make this year a little weirder with a new line of football-themed candles. Made to "enhance at-home viewing," the company really thought outside of the box and inside of the locker room (ick) with its scented offerings.

“As football season kicks off without fans in the stands, we saw an opportunity to enhance the at-home game day experience through some pretty unique scents that’ll make you feel like you’re really there,” Chelsea Phillips, general manager at BABE said via a press release. BABE, known for its canned wine, is the official wine of the NFL.

For fans who were just dying for the full-field experience, a three-candle special collection has been offered for sale: Jockstrap, Hashtag Field Goals, and $18 Nachos.

Now, the actual scents are not quite as offputting as the names suggest. The $18 Nacho candle smells like nacho cheese (okay, that one might be pretty gross), Hashtag Field Goals smells like freshly cut grass, and Jockstrap smells like (drumroll please) three-day-old sweaty ... uh ... footballs. Just kidding, it smells like a musky male deodorant, according to the retail site.

Each candle sells for $29 or as a collection for $69.

And, if you think no one in their right mind would buy this collection, you are dead wrong. It's already SOLD OUT! But, if you want to check out the scents and be the first to buy them if they make more, you can find the candles on the BABE Wine website. The company also offers a host of other non-football related scents to enjoy.

What do you think of these candles? Is this something you'd pick up for a gag gift, or have you always wanted the smells of the locker room in your own home? Let us know in the comments!
