WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - The Wichita Falls Memorial Mavericks had four soccer players sign commitment letters Wednesday. William Alejandro, Justyn Judie, Carter Peterson, and Austin Paschall. The four young men played a big role in the Mavericks success in their inaugural season. Justyn Judie and Cater Peterson are both headed to McMurry University. “Just taking in a lot of factors, it’s two hours away from home, it’s pretty affordable and a great soccer program looking to turn some things around,” Wichita Falls Memorial Maverick Justyn Judie said. “Just a really great soccer program you know it’s been a tough decision so I’m just glad I got to chose McMurry,” Wichita Falls Memorial Maverick Carter Peterson said. William Alejandro was the team captain this past season. He is headed to East Texas Baptist University. “One thing that’s really big when visiting all the different schools is definitely just the culture, and ETBU definitely had one of the top cultures I’ve ever been around,” Wichita Falls Memorial Maverick William Alejandro said. Austin Paschall signed with Oklahoma Wesleyan. “I just really enjoyed the campus, I loved what they had to offer they were really just supportive through my whole decision process and I like the coaches,” Wichita Falls Memorial Maverick Austin Paschall said. Congrats to all four young men.
