Here's a look at some of the top performers during the Nebraska high school football playoffs on Friday.

Class A



Amarion Jackson, Millard South: Caught eight passes for 142 yards and a score.

Jaron Cannon, Omaha North: Four touchdowns and 168 yards rushing.

Tay Tay Jenkins, Omaha Westside: Three of his five touchdowns, while rushing for 297 yards, came in the first quarter of a 48-0 win over Omaha Westview.

Connor O’Neill, Omaha North: Had five receptions for 174 yards, 149 coming after the catch, in the Vikings’ 35-16 win over Lincoln East. He also had two interceptions.

Jett Thomalla, Millard South: Was 29 of 37 for 379 yards and four touchdowns and ran for 51 yards in a 59-19 win over Papillion-La Vista South.

Class B



Nathan Axmann, Waverly: The night’s workhorse, he pounded out 212 yards on 42 carries in a 17-16 win over Norris.

Chase Graw, Gretna East: Threw three touchdown passes in a 44-7 win at Gering.

Carson Herman, Gretna East: Caught two of Graw’s scoring plays, 22 and 13 yards.

Nate Kelley, Scottsbluff: A Class B playoff record-tying six touchdowns while rushing for 275 yards in a 55-27 win over Gretna.

Michael Knudsen, Gretna: Threw for 340 yards and three touchdowns in the Scottsbluff loss.

Joe Kolega, Omaha Skutt: With two touchdown grabs in a 49-7 win over York, he broke the Class B record for TD receptions in a season with 18.

Des Smith, Scottsbluff: Ran for 215 yards, with touchdowns of 40 and 81 yards.

Jack Vyhnalek, Seward: Had two receiving touchdowns in a 21-20 win over Lincoln Pius X in a game decided by the Jays stopping a two-point conversion with less than 3 minutes left.

Class C-1



Quinn Bailey, Chadron: Corrected statistics for the senior running back in the 42-16 win over Lincoln Christian were 311 rushing yards and five touchdowns.

Kip Brigham, Wahoo: Picked up 401 yards on 13 touches — 253 yards and three touchdowns on eight rushes — 81 and a score on three receptions and 75 on two kickoff returns — in a 50-0 win over Douglas County West.

Turner Hanke, Central City: Had touchdown catches of 36, 54 and 22 yards and intercepted a pass.

Corbin Kyes, Central City: With Fort Calhoun’s defense trained on him, following his 400-yard rushing game to end the regular season, he still ran for 96 yards and two TDs and caught a TD pass.

Landon Riddle, Sidney: Opened the scoring in a 30-7 win over Omaha Roncalli with an 89-yard punt return that is a pending C-1 playoff record.

Cael Smith, Ashland-Greenwood: Ran for 118 yards and three touchdowns.

Derek Tonjes, Ashland-Greenwood: Was 19 of 29 for 212 yards and three touchdowns in a 39-16 win over Milford.

Parker Zikmund, Central City: Threw five touchdown passes and went past the 2,000-yard mark this season with 285 yards in a 49-14 win over Fort Calhoun.

Class C-2



Braylon Anderson, Oakland-Craig: Was 30 of 45 for 340 yards in a 22-16 loss at Hartington Cedar Catholic.

Battle Creek: The Braves battled teamwide food poisoning during the week to defeat David City Aquinas 31-13.

Conor Booth, Wahoo Neumann: NU commit added 200 yards and three touchdowns to his season totals in a 49-7 win over Lincoln Lutheran.

Madden Brabec, Wood River: Quarterback ran for 172 yards and threw a touchdown pass.

Wyatt Jelinek, Raymond Central: Ran for141 yards, passed for 123 and accounted for the Mustangs’ touchdowns in a 21-19 win. They stopped a 2-point conversion for their first playoff win since 2000 in their first playoff game since 2013.

Beau Rohrich, Wood River: Ran for 269 yards and three touchdowns in the Eagles’ first playoff win since 1996, 41-30 over Doniphan-Trumbull.

Trevin Sukup, Norfolk Catholic: Ran for 112 yards and three touchdowns in the Knights’ 36th consecutive win, 33-8 over Ord.

Eight Man-1



Karter Lingenfelter, Plainview: A 50-yard pick-six capped a game with 187 yards and four touchdowns rushing as the Pirates pilfered a 42-20 win at West Point Guardian Angels.

Jaxon Knisley, North Platte St. Patrick’s: His five touchdowns, on 171 yards rushing, paced a 55-8 win over Bridgeport.

Eight Man-2



Kyle Cox, Sandhills/Thedford: Accounted for eight touchdowns — six rushing, two passing — while gaining 245 yards rushing and 247 passing in a 76-26 win over Axtell.

Grady Kelly, Central Valley: Back from injury, he averaged 25.3 yards on six carries.

Carson Loos, BDS: Scored touchdowns in the first and third overtimes, then got the winning two-point conversion run in a 56-54 win over Kenesaw.

Hunter Luther, Howells-Dodge: Scored six touchdowns and rushed for 233 yards in a 54-22 win over Bancroft-Rosalie.

Hayden Muirhead, Overton: Senior quarterback ran for 127 yards and five touchdowns in a 32-20 win over High Plains.

Zaden Wolf, Central Valley: Was 11 of 12 for 184 yards and two touchdowns and ran for three scores in a 72-26 win over O’Neill St. Mary’s.

Six Man



Teghan Rosebaugh, Diller-Odell: Ran for four touchdowns in a 54-26 win at Leyton.

Dylan Young, Hay Springs: Four of his six completions went for touchdowns in a 72-36 win over Sioux County.
