TEXAS (KAUZ) - An increase in demand, as the weather gets nicer, is pushing prices up slightly, according to a recent AAA Texas report. AAA Texas said the statewide gas price average in Texas is $2.75 per gallon for regular unleaded fuel, which is two cents more when compared to this day last week and is 51 cents less per gallon compared to this day last year. AAA Texas shared that at $2.75, the state average remains well below what drivers were paying this time last year. The difference could be attributed to the lower price of crude oil.
