Do a Winter Trek with Snow Shoes
Be adventurous and throw on a pair of snow shoes and take a winter hike. If you are new to snow shoeing stop by
REI to rent your gear. Bear Lake Trail, Echo Lake, Jones Pass Trail, Golden Gate Canyon State Park and Lost Lake Trail are all beginner trails near Denver, according to Snow Show Magazine.
