COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Tripp is a 3-year-old Terrier mix available for adoption at Pawmetto Lifeline. A few months ago, Tripp was roaming around Pawmetto Lifeline’s property as a stray but wouldn’t come to anyone. The staff were finally able to capture him after almost 2 weeks. He was most likely dumped by a citizen that couldn’t or didn’t want to care for him. Tripp is so goofy that his foster mom swears he is half clown! He will always make you smile. Tripp is 50 pounds of love and fun. He has very soft fur and loves head rubs. Tripp is an active boy that loves to go on adventures and long walks. He is always ready to play, whether it’s tug-of-war with humans or romping around with other dogs! Once he gets all his wiggles out, he is down to cuddle for the rest of the day. Tripp is a very smart boy that enjoys pleasing his people and learning new things. He loves snacks and is very treat motivated when it comes to training. Tripp has been working on lots of commands in his foster home. He already knows how to sit, stay, and come when called. He is also crate trained and potty trained! Tripp is great with other dogs. He was even a big foster brother to two small puppies recently and was so loving and nurturing! You can meet Tripp at Pawmetto Lifeline on Friday, February 21st and Saturday, February 22nd during walk-in adoption hours of 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tripp has a reduced adoption fee of $50 which includes his neuter, microchip and up-to-date vaccines.
