GameOn bar and arcade is hitting the power down button on its Federal Hill location, with a social media announcement outlining the plan to shutter the spot by the end of March. Known for its classic arcade atmosphere and hosting games like Ms. Pac-Man and Mortal Kombat 2, the nostalgic hangout spot is looking for a new, larger venue in the Baltimore/DC area. Information from the WMAR-2 News report highlighted that the Columbia and Annapolis locations would keep their doors open for gamers and drink enthusiasts alike.

As cited in the same WMAR-2 News report, GameOn's "Everything Must Go" event is slated for Saturday, March 29, from 8 p.m. until the last token is spent, marking the end of an era for the Federal Hill location. However, the team hasn't yet revealed their next level-up space coordinates. They've expressed on social media their gratitude for the times shared, "We have loved our time in Baltimore but will be closing our Fed Hill location at the end of the March."

Yet, GameOn isn't the only business bidding adieu to Baltimore City – it's becoming a part of what's starting to look like a trend. Some well-known eateries have recently dimmed their open signs for good, such as Mother's Grille, Riptide, and Bondhouse Kitchen, as confirmed by a CBS News Baltimore article.
