KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KLTV) - Former Gilmer Buckeye Blake Lynch has signed a one-year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs, according to the team’s official transaction report. Kansas City is the sixth team that Lynch has played for. For more news on East Texans in the NFL, download the Red Zone app. Lynch signed with the Chiefs' practice squad in late December. In a week 18 loss to the Denver Broncos, Lynch recorded six tackles, including a tackle for loss. Lynch, 28, was signed as an undrafted free agent out of Baylor in 2020. The linebacker has had stops with the Minnesota Vikings, Arizona Cardinals, Los Angeles Chargers, Seattle Seahawks and Las Vegas Raiders before joining the Chiefs.
