STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The NYPD is asking for the public’s help to locate a 14-year-old girl reported missing from Mariners Harbor. Alyssa Freeman most recently was seen on Monday around 12:30 a.m. at her home in the vicinity of Bush Avenue and Richmond Terrace, according to a statement from the NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information. Police described the missing girl as having red hair and standing about 5′3″ tall and weighing about 120 pounds. She was wearing a blue jacket, blue jeans, and blue-and-white sneakers. A photo of the missing girl was supplied to the media by the NYPD.
