To the inexperienced, flying through the trees and conquering the obstacles may seem like something that requires a certain level of skill, coordination and strength. However, Go Ape says that its adventure course can be experienced by anyone skilled and fit enough to climb a rope ladder. In fact, the park once had a 93-year-old patron who was brave enough to enjoy the experience. [gallery type="rectangular" size="large" ids="7247,7251,7252"]
If you are not a fan of heights, or would rather watch as your friends and family navigate the course, non-participants will be able to walk along the trails below the course, free of charge. There are 30-minute training sessions given to those brave enough -- an instructor will tell guests about the equipment, the course, and how to use that knowledge to make sure it's an enjoyable and safe experience. Go Ape is located in Rock Creek Park at 6129 Needwood Lake Drive. For more info visit Go Ape’s website.
