A GoFundMe page has raised over $4,000 to cover the costs of a memorial service for a West Springfield woman who was found dead in Forest Park in Springfield last week.

Joann Garelli, 56, was found dead in the Camp Star Angelina area of Forest Park on Jan. 7 around 5 p.m., according to the Hampden District Attorney’s Office.

Her death is being investigated as a homicide.
