The Cancer League of Colorado sent rappellers down a skyscraper to raise money for research! Would you go over the edge next year?

On September 7, 8, and 9, the Cancer League of Colorado gave adrenaline junkies the chance to get a thrill and support a great cause with their Over the Edge event! All they had to do was raise a minimum of $1,000 in pledges and rappel down one of Denver's most prominent skyscrapers!
From skilled climbers who are out in the mountains rappelling every weekend to first timers who have only interacted with a carabiner as a keychain, people of all skill levels took on the fear of scaling the building. As Governor Hickenlooper put it after his turn to rappel, "It is fear, but it's just a fraction of the fear someone who is fighting cancer faces." Knowing that them conquering Glenarm Place would help fund cancer research and patient services went a long way to helping them get over the edge of the roof and down to the third floor deck. I was scared out of my wits... I'm afraid of heights. However, I'm committed to Cancer League and finding a cure. So here's to facing your fears!" - Tina Lovelace, Woodhouse Day Spa
Since 1985, the Cancer League of Colorado has donated $15 million. This year, around 200 rappellers raised around $350,000. Will you be going over the edge with the Cancer League of Colorado next year? You can find more information and make a general donation to the Cancer League here.
