The cereal will be hitting shelves this winter.

Little Debbie's Oatmeal Creme Pies have been a fan-favorite to accompany road trips, camping adventures, and late-night conversations. The nutty and sweet flavors transport you to your childhood (or to just last night). And now, thanks to Kellogg's, this treat is making its way to the breakfast table.

If you're one to enjoy dessert for breakfast, this news is for you. In December 2020, Little Debbie's Oatmeal Creme Pies Cereal will hit the grocery store shelves. These "crispy oatmeal puffs with a creme coating" will tantalize your taste buds and complete your breakfast. Grab your favorite bowl and a spoon in anticipation of this breakfast treat.

Kellogg's has been providing breakfast cereals and foods for families for years and now boasts, "We're the original plant-based wellbeing company." More than a breakfast cereal company, Kellogg's also offers snacks as they promote their company's sustainability, philanthropy, and nourishment endeavors.

The history of Little Debbie started during the Great Depression. O.D. McKee began selling 5-cent snack cakes out of his car. In 1934, he and his wife, Ruth, bought a bakery and moved the family into the back of the bakery to live.

After years of struggling to make ends meet, O.D. and Ruth's commitment to baking finally began to turn a profit. In 1960, they began selling baked goods in a family pack. O.D. named the packs after their granddaughter, Debbie. And thus, the Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pie was born.
