The grand opening of Tulsa's first SCHEELS store is approaching, marking the debut of the sporting goods retailer in Oklahoma. Located at Woodland Hills Mall, the store features a range of attractions, including a 56-foot Ferris wheel, an arcade, sports simulators, a candy shop, a wildlife mountain, and a 16,000-gallon saltwater aquarium with more than 600 fish. In addition to its entertainment offerings, the store carries more than a million products, from hunting gear to home decor. The company describes SCHEELS as more than just a sporting goods store, promoting it as an immersive experience. The grand opening is set for Saturday, Oct. 19, at 9:30 a.m., with food trucks, vendors, and a DJ kicking off the event at 7 a.m. The store is located at 6929 S. Memorial Dr. in Woodland Hills Mall.
