Check out feature specimens from Colorado mining districts on the first floor. If fossils, gemstones meteorites and UV minerals are your interest, the basement floor is for you.
Coors Brewery Tour

Take a tour in the world’s largest single-site brewery. The 30-minute self-guided tour shows the brewery’s malting, brewing, and packaging processes. Next you can try a beer in the “fresh beer room,” where you can rest on ice-cube benches. Lastly, wrap up your tour by viewing old photos, neons, and other Coors memorabilia. Overall this is a classic Golden attraction, almost a must for Colorado residents.

Triceratops Trail

Triceratops Trail is a 1.5-mile hiking trail that leads you between large walls of sandstone and into reclaimed clay pits. Along the trail there are several stops showing dinosaur, bird, mammal, insect, and invertebrate fossils and tracks. This is a super interesting and a fun place to bring the kids and teach them about our world’s history!
