As in the past, most of Cleveland’s regular season weekday home games at Progressive Field will begin at 6:10 p.m. in the months of April and May before shifting to 6:40 p.m. starts from June through September. Weekday afternoon get-away games will typically begin at 1:10 p.m. while Friday home games will start at 7:10 p.m.

The Guardians open Cactus League play against the Reds at 3:05 p.m. ET on Feb. 22 in Goodyear, Arizona. Cleveland’s top prospects will participate in their Spring Breakout exhibition at 8 p.m. on March 14 when they host the Mariners at Goodyear Ballpark.

The league has expanded matchups between what it calls “prime interleague rivals” for 2025, adding two additional games to the series between the majority of the sport’s natural adversaries. Thus, rather than facing Cincinnati four times as they have in the past few seasons, the Guardians will get a pair of three-game series against their in-state rivals.

Major League Baseball’s regular season kicks off with an opening series between the Dodgers and Cubs in Tokyo set for March 18-19. Leaguewide opening day will take place March 27 with 28 of 30 clubs in action, including the Royals hosting the Guardians at 4:05 p.m.

Cleveland’s home opener is set for a 4:10 p.m. first pitch between the Guardians and White Sox on April 8 at Progressive Field.

Lou Gehrig Day will be celebrated June 1-2 throughout the league, but the Guardians and Yankees will mark the occasion with a 7:05 p.m. first pitch on June 3 at Yankee Stadium.

Atlanta’s Truist Park will host the 95th All-Star Game on July 15 on FOX, with the Home Run Derby set for July 14 on ESPN. The 2025 draft will take place July 13 in Atlanta during MLB All-Star Week.

The Reds and Braves will play in MLB’s first Speedway Classic on Aug. 2 when the infield at Tennessee’s Bristol Motor Speedway is transformed into a ballpark. The game will air on Fox and is set to become the first American or National League game ever played in the Volunteer State.

The Mets and Mariners will travel to Muncy Bank Ballpark at Historic Bowman Field in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, for the 2025 Little League Classic at 7:10 p.m. on Aug. 17.

The 2025 regular season is set to end Sept. 28 with all 30 teams beginning play between 3 p.m. and 3:20 p.m. ET.
