Since last summer I've been really enjoying local farmers' markets, and I'm so excited they're back in full swing! My boyfriend and I typically frequent the South Pearl Street Farmers Market and the City Park Farmers Market, but there are tons of other farmers' markets throughout Colorado. If I'm in Denver for the weekend (we tend to be in the mountains a lot), the perfect Saturday or Sunday morning is kicked off by attending a market first thing.
We've come to love many of the tons of vendors that go to the markets, some of which have become staples. At the same time, we're often finding new offerings to check out. Let's take a look at some of my current favs!
*Please note: Many of these brands attend various markets and events. I'm listing some of the main markets and stores you can find them at, along with social media links. I recommend following these vendors on social media and checking their websites for updates on their whereabouts.
8 of My Favorite Farmers' Market Finds in Colorado:
Tru Goodness Brands
My absolute favorite kombucha brand had to make this list! In addition to kombucha, they also make ginger beer, lemonade, cold brew coffee, infused water, and sparkling tea. You can even sign up for a subscription delivery service with them if you're in the delivery area.

Misoheat
Misoheat's chili paste is 🔥 (pun intended). Thanks to the miso paste, it provides a kick but has more complexity. The flavor is delicious, mouthwatering umami. I'm somewhat cautious with spice, but I absolutely adore this sauce. They even make a "Reaper Edition," which kicks the heat up even more.

New Friends
The farmers' markets aren't only about purchasing goods to take home. There are also food trucks/carts/stands, which is a great way to enjoy breakfast or lunch for the day. The line is usually pretty long at New Friends, and once you try it, you'll know why. These breakfast sandwiches are some of the best ones I've ever had. The sammie is pretty simple, but it's incredible. The arugula and friends sauce round it out perfectly.

not bad cooks
I'm obsessed with the pesto from not bad cooks. They also sell chimichurri, buffalo sauce, vodka sauce, Italian chili oil, apple butter, and strawberry lemon sauce. They even do a weekly contest where they select their favorite recipe a customer made using one of their sauces, and reward them with a free sauce! I won it once when I didn't even know there was a contest. (Follow me @laischeeseboards on Insta.) Anyway, these sauces slap.

Haykin Family Cider
I wasn't always a fan of hard cider, but Haykin Family Cider made me reconsider some things. These ciders are similar to sparkling wine and they have lots of delicious options. I'm also just finding out they sell a non-alcoholic cider, which is very exciting news!

Full Stop Bakery
If you're looking for a fun cracker to take your cheese board up a notch (or just to snack on), the sourdough crackers from Full Stop Bakery are a must. They come in various tasty flavors such as Sriracha & Cheddar and Parm & Herb, and the thick and hearty texture is super satisfying.

Simply Fresh Microgreens
Microgreens are a tasty and healthy way to dress up things like sandwiches and avocado toast, but really, you can do whatever you want with them. They're even great on their own! Simply Fresh Microgreens have an array of health benefits. They're rich in vitamins, and minerals, among other things. They're also sustainably grown. You love to see it.

Björn’s Colorado Honey
This awesome honey vendor has a wide variety of flavored honey. We just recently picked up a haul of the Lemon Honey, Sweet And Spicy Honey, and two jars of the Double Propolis Honey (which is said to be an immune buster). Whether you're looking for honey to add to your tea, drizzle over a charcuterie board, or whatever your heart desires, there's something for you here. They even sell other honey products!
