If you’re worried about what to do for Halloween this year, Busch Gardens has you covered.

Every year for Halloween, Busch Gardens Williamsburg hosts a spectacular park-wide event for families. This year, even with the COVID-19 pandemic, is no different. Doors opened on October 1 and will remain open through the Halloween Harvest event, happening all month long.

The park reopened back in August with additional safety procedures to reflect the concerns of the pandemic. Face masks are required for all visitors, temperature screenings are happening, and the park and events have limited capacity to allow for social distancing.

Because of the limited capacity, you’ll need to make reservations in advance if you want to go. Tickets are now available at the official website.

This year, families can enjoy new roller coasters and a variety of activities for all ages. The truly spooky stuff will happen when the sun goes down: creatures will roam around certain areas between 5 and 9 p.m. So if you have children under 10 years old, best to make sure you avoid those areas. Unless your kids are into that sort of thing. I’m not judging.
