Omaha knows how to celebrate New Year's Eve.

Check out this list of the New Year's Eve events in Omaha. It includes both family-friendly and adults only events, including those at bars, restaurants, the zoo and more.

Family-friendly New Year's Eve events



Downtown Omaha’s Holiday Lights Festival



The RiverFront and the Old Market are prime viewing places for the New Year’s Eve Fireworks Spectacular, but you can see the show throughout downtown.

The show will begin at 7 p.m. and will be launched from Heartland of America Park near The RiverFront. It’s designed to be seen either outside or in a warm car.

J&M Displays produces the show, which will be accompanied by music on Star 104.5 FM radio.

Parking meters will be free after 9 p.m.

Durham Museum



Noon Year’s Eve for kids and their families, with a bubblewrap stomp and a balloon drop at 12 p.m.

There will be live music from Dino O’Dell and the T-Rex All-Stars, goodie bags and crafts, including handmade party hats.

Registration for the 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. event is encouraged because of high interest.

It’s free for museum members and the cost of regular admission for others: $15 for adults; $12 for seniors; $8 for children 3 to 12 and free for children 2 and younger.

The Hub Trampoline Park



New Year’s Eve Glow Party, with pizza and non-alcoholic sparkling beverages, fun and party favors.

Omaha Children’s Museum



The Bubbly New Year’s Eve Party includes the Amazing Bubble Show, holiday crafts, characters and bubble drops from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

All activities are included in the price of admission.

Members and kids under 24 months of age are free. Kids under 2 years old are free, admission is otherwise $16, seniors older than 60 are $15 and all tickets purchased in the last hour of the day are $7.

Henry Doorly Zoo



Noon Year’s Eve, with a DJ dance party from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., including a countdown at 11:59 a.m. with noise makers.

Other activities are a photo booth, snowball toss, gingerbread village and Merry Magic Theater.

The zoo is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Event is free with zoo admission: $19.95 for adults, $13.95 for children 3 to 12, $18.95 for seniors.

La Vista Public Library



Sticker, Stamp and Stencil Party. Various activities for kids using these tools.

Parental participation appreciated.

Party, for all ages, begins at 10:30 a.m.

Altitude Trampoline Park



Two hours of jumping for $25, plus a balloon drop, prizes, a sparkling cider toast and more.

Limited to the first 100 jumpers.

Hours: 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Dave & Busters



Banquet with a variety of small bites, including boneless wings, flatbreads, mini pretzel dogs and more. Plus unlimited soft drinks, a $20 power card, and unlimited video game play.

Video ball drop, ginger ale toast and hats and noisemakers.

Hitchcock Nature Center



New Year’s Eve Sunset Hike. An environmental education team will lead a wintry walk through the Loess Hills.

Dress for the weather, including layers and coats, hiking shoes or boots, hats and gloves.

$5 per hiker, with kids under 3 free.

Hours: 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Sump Memorial Library



Noon Year's Eve. Crafts, music and dancing.

There will be a countdown to noon. 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

Adults only New Year's Eve events



Hyde’s Slydes



Candlelight Bar & Grill



Live music from 6 to 9 p.m. from the Ground Zero Band, then DJ Patrick will spin tunes.

Dinner will be served with a choice of ribeye steak or chicken parmesan.

Tickets are $40 and are available at 402-401-6779.

The Steppe Center



Live music, hors d’oeuvres, karaoke lounge, blackjack table, red carpet photos, champagne toast, fireworks, one drink ticket.

A VIP admission adds another drink ticket and access to a VIP area. 7 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

City Pub



Tickets to the first floor are free and include the main bar, pool tables and arcade games.

Tickets for the second floor are $20. You can purchase a five-drink package for an additional $30.

Second floor tickets include access to the rooftop bar, a live DJ and a firepit.

The party runs from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. and is for those 21 and older.

The Tavern



In the Mix party with VIP tables, food truck bites, cocktails and champagne on tap from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Doors open at 8 p.m.

Hyderabad House Biryani Place



DJ Madan live, state-of-the-art sound and lighting and grand buffet, $25 for the first 50 people.

Buffet starts at 8:30 p.m.. DJ with Bollywood and Tollywood music starts at 10.

Backswing Brewing Co.



Kolsch Service, inspired by Cologne, Germany from 5 to 9 p.m.

Servers will bring glasses of the craft brewery’s Citra Kolsch to tables in 12-ounce Stange glasses. Patrons put coasters over their glasses when they’ve had their fill.

From 7 to 9 p.m. there's an improv comedy show with 1030 Bison. Also includes a Brat Bar and champagne toasts at 9 p.m.

Tickets, available at eventbrite.com , are $50 for the entire evening, including the brats, and $20 for the comedy show and toast.

The Granary



NYE Granary 2025. Indoor party at Bushwackers with a live DJ, huge dance floor, drink specials, food from BBQ Brothers, complimentary champagne toast at midnight and access to the live outdoor midnight ball drop and fireworks.

New Year’s Eve Comedy Trifecta, with a full bar, dinner menu and a two-item minimum per person.

Performers will be Alec Parent, Hanna Ljungholm and Justin Leon.

Jewell on Capitol



NYE Bourbon Ball 2025.

Progressive bourbon tastings every hour from 8 p.m. to midnight.

Dinner served from 8 to 10 p.m., including appetizers, a seafood feast, charcuterie and vegetable spread, a carving station and a dessert buffet.

DJ Brent Crampton will spin tunes with a live drummer and the dance floor will be open all night.

Snacks from 11 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. will include wings, assorted flatbreads and cauliflower nuggets with orange blossom hot honey.

NYE 2025: The Final Countdown.

A $25 Roxxstar pass gets you all night entry and half-off food and drinks from 5 to 8 p.m.
