Yep, that is correct! Virginia is known for many great things, but Christmas spirit is apparently not one of them!
According to a ranking by CenturyLink, Virginia takes the No. 30 spot for Christmas spirit. The survey took into consideration each state's online activity and area culture to determine each state's dedication to the popular holiday.
The ranking analyzed several factors, including Google searching for Christmas movies, shopping trends, Christmas songs, and the number of tweets related to Christmas. They also looked at the area culture for the number of Christmas tree farms per capita and the number of charitable donations.
