Two stores will soon move into the former Bed Bath & Beyond space in Virginia Beach Town Center. Town Center developer Armada Hoffler said the real estate company finalized two leases for the building formerly occupied by the big-box home goods retailer near the Regal movie theater at Columbus Village. A company spokesperson did not disclose the names of the new tenants. In its Wednesday announcement, the company said a “prominent grocer” will occupy 14,000 square feet and a national sporting goods retailer will fill the building’s other 19,000 square feet. Bed, Bath & Beyond filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy in April 2023 and liquidated all of its stores by July 2023.
